Skin problems on Reunion Island

Reunion Island has a particular climate which can cause skin problems especially when animals come from the metropolis and their skin is not used to the climate.

Laura Vaitilingom, DAATA groomer from Reunion, meets many cases in her salon. Since she discovered the DAATA method, she is now able to respond effectively to the skin problems she encounters. As with Holigan, a small black dog who arrived with serious problems with his elbows, ears and hindquarters. The vet suspected a food allergy but could not offer a concrete solution.

The owner of Holigan had first come for a classic grooming, unaware that Laura was a DAATA groomer. The latter therefore immediately offered to apply the method. What she accepted.

After just one DAATA grooming, this is how Holigan returned to see Laura after 4 weeks for his DAATA follow-up grooming.

The lesions have completely disappeared, the dryness is almost non-existent in the ear and hindquarters and the cracks have disappeared at the elbows, leaving for the moment a soft skin which will be managed during the follow-up grooming.
